Drafting a calendar event straight from an open Gmail thread.

What it does

Reading a thread that needs a meeting? Gmail → Calendar adds a button right inside Gmail that reads the whole conversation and drafts the event for you. It opens Google Calendar with the title, date and time, attendees, and an agenda already filled in — you just confirm and save. No more copy-pasting times and addresses between two tabs.

  1. 1Open an email thread that implies a meeting.
  2. 2Click “Draft event” — the app reads the conversation with AI.
  3. 3Google Calendar opens pre-filled; review the details and save.
